Trivia Night Team

If you are finding you and your friends are getting bored of doing the same things over and over why not try something new and exciting such as pub trivia. If you know a lot about many subjects, know the latest current events and are good at pop culture, pub trivia is the perfect way to add some fun to your life and meet some new people. Here are four reasons to play pub trivia:

Get out of the House

You can only watch so much television and play so many video games. Eventually you have to get out of the house and get social. Even if you are on your own you can find a local pub that is offering trivia nights and join in the fun. Trivia will offer some much needed brain stimulation and not only get you out of the house but give your brain a chance to flex its muscles.

Meet New People

If you are new to an area or are just interested in meeting new people pub trivia is a great way to be social. Pub trivia creates a great team atmosphere with friendly competition; and if you're good you could maybe even join an existing champion team. If you're looking to get some of your friends involved you can set up your own winning team with pop culture know-it-all's and history experts.

Fun

Not everyone will admit it, but we all know that there is at least one time we sat watching TV getting a thrill shouting out the answers during Jeopardy. Being smart is fun, and even when you don't know the answers, you learn by trying. Trivia is fun and when you are out and being social with friends pub trivia is even more enjoyable.

Prizes

Many pubs offer some pretty worthwhile prizes from gift cards for free meals to even better things sponsored by their suppliers. You could walk away with a trip for two or a dinner at your favourite pub.

Trivia's not like betting on the horses. You have nothing to lose and will have a great time even if you don't win.
