Bruno's Bar and Grill is located in Scott’s Valley in the west hills of the Santa Cruz Mountains in California. The new owners took over in August of 2017, and they are working really hard at increasing quality and customer service. They have a warm fireplace for those chilly evenings, yummy drinks, and delicious food. A friendly place where you can get great service while enjoying the ambiance of a nice cozy bar with plenty of TV's and great company.
Under new ownership, Bruno's Bar and Grill wanted to be known as the go-to place for delicious food and local fun! The previous trivia experience was boring and not well attended. After being contacted by Quizrunners, the owners decided to change their trivia provide and add the event to their taco night. Tuesday Night Taco Trivia is now robust, and fun, and the attendance and positive feedback started increasing instantly!
Bruno's had been in business for over 20 years and trivia night was failing. They had a trivia service, and the host did not have the personality for entertainment. The trivia was dull, and it was not well attended. The new owners originally used the service anyway because it is easier to have handled the hosting, scoring, etc. They were interested in finding new ways to increase the quality of their events. They needed to be able to run the trivia themselves to guarantee that it would be hosted by someone with a personality to draw the people in and make it fun.

Quizrunners contacted Bruno’s via email as asked them if they were interested in trying out their trivia product. They decided to switch from the other service to Quizrunners. It was easy to download, and it is a snap to use every week. The added in some extras like music in-between questions and the participants love the new trivia.
We now have a regular crowd that comes as well as adding new people every week. We make it fun by adding extra points for dancing or singing or doing silly things, and people love it. We combined it with our Taco Tuesday, which means they can buy a Margarita and get a free taco, or purchase tacos separately for only $1.75. It is free to play, and it is very well attended.
